OK, first step is done, I now have a blog page....blogblog, so here goes.

Will, esq. Maguire gave me this link to get my stuff out there.....maybe it will be easier to share some writing and pics with friends, family, interested parties, wild parties etc.....hehehe.

It is still dark here in Lorain, Ohio, my temporary digs for the next couple of weeks. On a mission helping my girlfriend, Chris, move from her home of 22 years to Hawaii, with me. It is all happening at lightning speed, beginning with our trip across the continent from Long Beach, Ca. to Lorain, Ohio a couple of weeks ago. There are the strictly physical things, like boats, cars, houses, junk, etc. to sell or store or......give away? Then there are the many friends to say goodbye to, wish well and say aloha to until next spring upon our return visit. Then of course and most importantly is family....leaving them, moving off the continent out into the middle of the ocean with some guy promising jobs, adventures, sunlight, whales, diving.....generally life in the tropics.

I have met many of Chris' longtime friends, shared stories, food, beer, wine and fun times with.
They are excited to see her do what she has wanted to do for so long AND to have someone "special" in her life. They all wish her well, some worry about it, some hate to see her leave....but many want to come and visit Hawaii.....we may have many visitors, who knows?

The first years I lived in Hawaii I had many, many, friends visit. After a while the pace slows down a bit, but heck even after 34 years, some still come and visit, ie., Jim and Pamela Doman, Randy Steigeley.....et.al. Oh yeah and ESQguy....Will Maguire

So, I think this should suffice as a small beginning, so aloha from where the first snows are sprinkling on the shores of Lake Erie.....my cue to help finish of the tasks at hand and head south then west.....
